David Gray - This years love.
It reminds me of my dad (my mum isn't really into music).
The whole White Ladder album reminds me of my dad. I was 14. My dad and I used to sit in the kitchen almost every evening picking it apart. My dad was teaching me about music. It's this incredible album recorded in his bedroom and bathroom with hardly any money. Beautifully raw. Beautifully simple. It's a glorious album.
It was really hard to just pick on song.
'Butterfly kisses' makes me think of my dad because that is the song we danced to at my wedding.
